[2025-2] Application for Transfer of Credits from a Former School

전적학교 학점 인정 신청 안내

We would like to inform you of the credit transfer process for previously earned credits as below. Please apply within the designated period.

1. Standard of Recognition : Subjects taken at other graduate schools before admission to PNU GSIS, which are considered academically similar to courses offered in the same program.

2. Range of Recognition : Up to one half of the total credits required for program completion.

3. Recognition Process : Submit through the departmental review to the academic office.

   * Reference: (Before 2022) Master’s: Thesis track 42 credits / Non-thesis track 48 credits; Doctoral: 42 credits.

             (From 2022) Master’s: Thesis track 36 credits / Non-thesis track 42 credits; Doctoral: 36 credits.

4. Required Documents

  ① Syllabus of previously taken courses

  ② Transcript

  ③ Credit Transfer Application Form (attached)

   → Submit all documents to the GSIS office.

5. Application Period : Until Sep. 8.(Mon). 5 p.m.

6. Notes :

  1) If you take a course that has already been transferred from another school, the credits earned at PNU will be invalid. (If the course title is identical, it will be regarded as a duplicate course.)

  2) If you register for a course before applying for credit transfer, the system cannot automatically check duplication. Please carefully check your registered courses.

  3) Credits earned through domestic or international exchange programs can only be recognized within one half of the total credits required for graduation, including transferred credits. Therefore, if you transfer the maximum credits, you may not be able to apply for exchange study credits later.

대학원과정 학생 중 전적 학교 학점 인정 처리절차를 다음과 같이 안내해 드리오니 기한 내 신청하여 주시기 바랍니다.

1. 인정 기준: 입학 전 교내외 타 대학원 동일과정에서 취득한 과목 중 학문내용이 유사한 교과목

2. 인정 범위: 수료에 필요한 학점의 2분의 1 범위 내

   * 참고: (2022년 이전 입학 기준) 석사과정의 경우 최소필요 학점 논문트랙 42학점/비논문트랙 48학점, 박사과정의 경우 최소필요 학점 42학점

             (2022년 이후 입학 기준) 석사과정의 경우 최소필요 학점 논문트랙 36학점/비논문트랙 42학점, 박사과정의 경우 최소필요 학점 36학점

3. 인정 절차: 학과 심의를 거쳐 학사과로 신청

4. 제출 서류: ①전적학교 이수과목 교수계획표 ②성적증명서 ③학점 인정 신청서 작성 후 국제전문대학원 행정실 제출

5. 신청기간: 2025. 9. 8.(월) 오후 5시까지

6. 유의 사항:

  1) 전적 학교 학점 이정 교과목과 동일한 교과목을 본교에서 다시 이수한 경우, 중복 교과목으로 처리되어 뒤에 취득한 성적은 무효과 되니 유의바람 (* 교과목명이 동일한 경우 중복 교과목으로 처리함)

  2) 학점 인정 전에 수강 신청한 경우 전산상 중복 교과목 확인이 불가하므로 학점 인정신청시 수강신청 내역 반드시 확인바람

  3) 국내외 교류 수학으로 취득한 학점은 전적학교 인정 학점을 포함하여 졸업(수료)학점의 2분의 1이내에서 인정 가능하므로, 전적학교 학점을 최대로 인정받을 경우 교류 수학 신청이 불가할 수 있음
